yo i don’t know why this girl be givin’ me dirty lookz
we used to go to their church. it was two houses away from ours. lots of good times. we would watch tom and jerry together at our house cos we had cable tv. and we’d go play on their terrace. it had a shed on one side. we’d play this cooking game with coconut shells and dried up leaves. it was so nice.
this was one of the nicer ‘family visits’ from our trip this summer. we called my mom in canada once we got there. actually we did that wherever we went and i could tell that everyone wanted to see her so badly. they thought i looked just like her. i don’t really see the resemblance, but it was nice because it made them so happy to see that ‘anita is laila-xerox’. i think it’s the braid.
